About

I'm a writer from Boston who somehow ended up studying film at Fitchburg State University before life took me on adventures through Los Angeles, Denver, and Chattanooga. These days I'm back home, spending my days writing code as a web developer and my nights working on novels.

I'm a bit of a reading addict—I'll devour everything from ancient historians like Herodotus to mind-bending authors like Philip K. Dick and Thomas Pynchon. Give me Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, or Roberto Bolaño and I'm happy. All these voices swimming around in my head probably explain why I love writing stories that jump between different times and places.

My latest novel, The Oval Glass, came from wondering what would happen if a mysterious object could connect people across centuries. Turns out, that's exactly the kind of story I love telling.
